1.
This hire agreement is made between Somewhere Special Ltd ("us/we")
and the person signing the booking form and/or paying the deposit
("you"), for the hire of the cottage shown on the booking
form "the property").
2. The period of hire is from 4pm on the day
of arrival until 10am on the day of departure, unless other arrangements
have been agreed in advance. All members of your party must vacate
the property by then.
3. The maximum occupancy for each property is
clearly stated and this must not be exceeded. We reserve the right
to terminate occupancy of the property without notice or refund
in the case of a breach of this condition.
4. The property shall be used solely for the
purposes of a holiday and you shall not sub-let the property or
any part of it or any of its equipment. Use of the property is
at the hirer's own risk and no liability shall fall on us for
any injury to, or loss of personal belongings of, the occupants.
5. You will maintain the property and its contents
in the clean and tidy condition you accept it at the start of
your holiday. Any breakages are payable in full.
6. You are not allowed to bring pets of any kind,
with the exception of a guide dog, to the property. Nor are you
allowed to smoke inside the property.
7. By signing the booking form and/or by making a telephone booking, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions and you must ensure that all members of your party understand and comply with them.
8. You must pay a deposit of 30% of the full
price shown for the holiday at the time of booking, (or, if the
booking is made less than six weeks before the holiday start date,
the full amount of the holiday). You will receive confirmation
of your booking in writing or by email once your deposit has been
paid. You will then become liable for the balance of the rental,
which must be paid six weeks prior to the start date of the holiday.
9. If you have to cancel for any reason, you
must notify us in writing/by email. We will then make an attempt
to re-let the property. However, if this is unsuccessful, you
must still pay us the full amount outstanding for your holiday.
We therefore strongly recommend that guests arrange private holiday
cancellation insurance.
10. If for any reason beyond our control we are
unable to provide the property you have booked, then we will refund
all the monies you have paid in full.
